Hi Stewart
I read your blog on the “Making Moves” Blogsite. I am doing the graduate placement in Kingshurst.with Lina Peterson as the lead artist. I love the illustrations for your project ideas. It reminded me of a Paula Rega’s exhibition in B’ham Museum and Art Gallery a couple of years ago. She had a series of sinister children’s nursery rhyme images that were were both haunting and memorable. Might be worth a look? Best wishes Viv

Thanks for these. They have been so obviously well considered and carefully determined. and, like all the others who comment, I am really attracted to the marriage of the embroidery and digital print. I see these pieces as moving, but moving so incredibly slow that they only seem to be still…

I loved the exhibit of your work in Birmingham, I also think it’s great to see someone as talented as you doing so well getting such wonderful exhibits and features of your work, especially as I’m at Coventry University now! Proof that it can be done.

I love your Deadwood series of prints
They have given me great inspiration over the winter to write a an EP based around tales from the West
I also enjoyed your exhibition at the MAC – the modern style tapestry is visually stunning
An ancient tale forever retold
